Breathing new life into a building that has welcomed travelers since 1886, Witherby revives the warmth and hospitality long associated with this storied corner of the Gaslamp. Here, guests are invited into an intimate dining experience where they can slow down, gather, and savor the moment. Velvet textures, warm oak, brass accents, and golden light create a setting that feels both timeless and inviting.
Watching over the room are our two golden guardians, Refuge and Haven. Refuge offers rest to the weary traveler, while Haven invites conversation, connection, and the joy of good company. Together they embody the spirit of Witherby: a place where strangers become friends and every guest is welcomed warmly.
Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Robin James, our talented kitchen team creates menus designed to complement the experience throughout the day, highlighting thoughtful ingredients and comforting, seasonal dishes. Alongside the kitchen, our craft cocktail program led by Giovanni Pinuelas brings the bar to life with a curated selection of classic and contemporary cocktails, each prepared with care and creativity.
